Wounded - Poem by Dorsey Baker

Baby my wounds
don't get time to heal
before you start to
inflict
more of them on me
Baby you've got me
so drunk with pain
Baby my wounds
don't get time to heal
before you
inflict
more of them
on me!
my heart
breaks
constantly!
my tears
they fall just like rain
Baby my wounds
don't get time
to heal
before you start to
inflict
more of them
on me

tears flood my eyes
that is all
I can see!

Baby my wounds
don't get time
to heal

before you start to
inflict
more of them on me
