Writing From The Heart: Behind The Mirrors Poem by Terence Craddock

Writing From The Heart: Behind The Mirrors

write from the heart so simple on surface so time differing;
do you not know that there are many kinds types of hearts;
therefore heart written words enter maze labyrinth in style
tone emotive responses; will words be written surface simple
or confessional deep; will words be written in love belief
optimistic joyful or in pain depths dark deceit; will words
be black and white or shades of grey darkening with storm
clouds thunder monsoon rain floods devastation; will words

be sunshine bursting from clouds with glorious rainbows;
will words be flat surface life mirrors or dive into depths
of psyche; will words ring tone true or fall flat hollow; will
words be gifted with time insight wisdom; the wisdom
of one fertile to become quote wisdom of many; how
beautiful joyful is a pure bliss filled heart; how deadly

dangerous is heart of deception bitterness deceit;
who will gift words of insight praise a joy to world
to reader; who will write words of torment anger
dangerous hook character words; great novelists
will write characters good evil to effect intense realities
simple joys with message morals caution; be careful
where words thoughts lead you; well owned wisdom
ridden words will leave embracing life philosophies

better lives; words riding characters in greed rage
bitterness revenge may lead to proverbial bitter end;
