Writing Poems In A Coffin Poem by Terence George Craddock

Writing Poems In A Coffin

Rating: 5.0

bury me
I will be
writing
poems in a coffin
on the way to the cemetery

burn me
I will be
writing
poems in ash in wind
spreading across plume sky

resurrect me
I will be
writing
poems in paradise
where all beauty is eternally free

A bold and original thought to write poems in a coffin, then in paradise. Very stimulating.

I wrote the poem 'Ghost Writing Poets', dedicated to Unwritten Soul; inspired by my reply to a comment made by the poet Unwritten Soul, on the poem 'Writing Poems In A Coffin', by the poet Terence George Craddock.
