I will write
When I awaken
To morning sky
Obscured by clouds
Sombre mood
In harsh toll
I will breathe
The crisp air
And frozen
In such thought
I will cry
In despair
I will reawaken
To a bright morning
Invigorated
Now journeyed
Moving forward
Yesterday lost
My tears dried
On the blanket
Of lonely sky
Crying with joy
From within soul
I write in blood

Joy and sorrow are inevitable companions of life! Still we manage to greet every fresh morning with new hope! This ability to bounce back is man's special gift! We should allow tears to get dried fast and smiles brighten our face! Enjoyed this introspective and philosophical write!
Valsa, you are one of those brilliant poets who takes the time to both read and comment so wisely on the writes of other poets. I am in awe of both your poetry and your feedback. Deeply honoured and humbled. Thank you so very much.
