Yellow Flowers Poem by Gina Albiek

Yellow Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Is it dead
Is it alive
Rose, my rose
Grow fast, so fast
Color a flawed green
With the brightest shade of yellow
Yellow it is
It is how it is
What do they see
In a shadow
What would they be
With the brightest shade of yellow
Yellow it is
It is how it is
It's gone, long gone
Or is it still here
See it? See me?
Sun is shining
Sun is free
With the brightest shade of yellow
Yellow it is
It is how it is
It burns, burns them, burns me
Burns, burns so free
Free, they're free
Are they not?
See it? See them?
Fly away, far away
Away, away up that hill
With flowers
Colored
With the brightest shade of yellow
Yellow it is
It is how it is
Flowers, it's beautiful
Yellow flowers
Lay them down
Down on that hill
Windmills roar
So quietly,
They're calm, I'm calm
Take them, take me
Away, away
To all the dreams
It's black and white
Burning
With the brightest shade of yellow
Yellow it is
It is how it is
Burns freely
It's free
They're free
I'm free
