Shadows
I see your shadow
It fills me up
It fills the place
You're bigger
Bigger than me
So bigger
Than what I can see

We move around
Silhouettes dancing
Yours is bigger
Mine runs in circles
Cause you're bigger
Bigger than me
So much bigger
Than what I can be

It's dark
I feel a splash of wind
Caress my cheek
I give a little squeak
Before it strikes
It's because you're bigger
Bigger than me
You get to decide
When to set me free

Ego beats me down
As I'm beaten to the ground
I know it won't last
So I stand still
And I see how you're bigger
Much bigger than me
And I understand why
You get to beat me

I shout and shout
But my voice won't reach
I know they're out there
I know they can hear me
But they let it be
It's because you're bigger
Bigger than me
No one's coming
To rescue me

When it's over
When I can't stand still
Warm tears roll down my eyes
As they ignore my desperate cries
They say you're bigger

Red splashes would fade
