Yesterday Cannot Be Changed: Tomorrow Is Yet To Be Written Poem by Terence George Craddock

Yesterday Cannot Be Changed: Tomorrow Is Yet To Be Written

the realization that shadow yesterday is
a closed book which cannot be changed

makes the realization that time ticking today
tomorrow are precious still hold possibilities

where we can influence and sometimes write the endings;

experience teaches shudder danger a certain look
there is in the eyes vibe of people often best avoided

eyes of sincerity kindness integrity
are testament these people incredibly
wear have a proverbial heart of gold

and make good friends;

as for me I quietly smile at adversity
when havoc strikes and I am drowning

the chance to make time sometimes
to do a few things I believe important

is enough for each day;

never loose aspects of a childlike mind
a little fresh wonder can make ordinary
intriguing and lucky children should not

have all the fun;

stay beautiful and be happy Georgia,
you will always have a friend or two
waiting around life's unseen corner

and knowing where we do not want to be;

makes finding where we should be a little easier?

yesterday cannot be changed; tomorrow yet unwritten
means carpe diem seize the day pluck heart string days
pay coin full price drink a measure of life worth living
