Yesterday's Dream (For My Jela)~ Jučerašnji San (Jeli)
I woke up cheerful and refreshed.
I dreamed a dream that can't happen:
We slept in the same bed again.
I agree that my life passes in solitude
if bring me, every night, in my dream,
You, my yesterday's, impossible dream.

Probudio sam se vedar i odmoran.
Sanjao sam san koji se ne može desiti:
Spavali smo ponovo u istom krevetu.
Pristajem da mi život prođe u samoći
ako da mi svaka noć donese, u snu, tebe,
moj jučerašnji, nemogući san.

Dreams can seem so real. How wonderful to be able to be reunited with a loved one and spend precious moments with them again. It makes the solitude of our waking hours more bearable. A lovely poem of remembrance.
