Yet To Detect Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Yet To Detect

The us against them,
And less important stuff.
Has more becoming disgusted.
With a tuning out the petty noise.

The us against them,
And who it is to distrust.
Isn't hidden to know,
Who is corrupted.
Beyond a feeling being annoyed.

Up in the face is betrayal.
Up in the face is treasonous deeds.
Up in the face more mud is thrown.
And the people accept,
Their hypocrisies.

Up in the face is division.
Up in the face is confusion to leave.
And up in all faces regardless of race...
Is a menace.
One who sits in position to lead.
And yet,
Not to detect.
We are being made to believe we're victims.
And yet,
Not to detect.
We are being used to delude the truth.
When heard to hear.
And yet,
Not to detect.
It's not about us, them or each other.
It's about a feeding of greed.
And based upon looks.
Where people come from and color!
