I only ever wanted to be loved,
Ocassionally to be hugged,
The laughter inside me fades away,
The other people just want to play,
My life in ruins,
I stand alone,
Wishing I had a proper home

You gave me that love,
You even gave me that hug,
You taught me how to laugh again,
You helped me when I was down,
You're the one who showed me how to live life how I wanted,
And who listened when I needed someone
