Miles are far distances away
And thoughts are sometimes in dismay
When all that I truly crave
Is for my longing heart to be brave

Your everything amazed me from the meeting twice
And being with you was my only vice
Pulling out all the stops seemed the right way to go
And my love for the packet, that I wanted to show

You welcomed me into your everyday life
For that you are a three out of five
For the remaining points of two
I will find when being with you

Wrinkles of laugh form your angel face
And are bound with happiness as lace
You make my heart find itself again
When my heart wanted with blue to remain

You came into my life the second time around
With ropes around my heart tightly bound
You restored worry-free thoughts in me
You made me the possibilities of tomorrow see
