You And I - Poem by indira babbellapati

you and i
mere illusions
created through
this body to test our
strength and resolve to
loosen this grip on the earth

you and i
mere shadows
of a great light playing
an eternal hide and seek

A beautiful philosophic poem. Truth carved through verse pleasantly. The 'you' and 'i' though are mortals and shadows are instruments of the Light for its absorption, scattering and spread. I liked the idea of the poem so much. (Report) Reply
