You And I

The Yangtze River was in twilight
the boat against the water
the boat trackers were tired
The morning sun rose in the sea
braving the wind and the waves
the helmsman was leisurely

Grinding ink and wielding a wolf hair brush
you moved the recall on the bottom of the writing brush
Playing the lute and the bamboo rhyme
I took the lovesickness on the strings

長江彌暮靄，行舟逆水縴夫累
大海躍朝陽，破浪乘風舵手閑
研墨舞狼毫，君把感懷移筆底
撫琴彈竹韻，我將思念寄弦間
