You And Me Poem by Dorsey Baker

You And Me

You are traveling south and
I am traveling north
Our paths so different
I want to run
and you want to crawl
I seek to make peace
but you seek to make war
I have fallen in love
with knowledge
but you prefer
to wallow in your ignorance
You cannot find healing
unless you try to
overcome your sickness!
but you seek to make war
O have fallen in love
with knowledge
but you prefer
to wallow in your ignorance
You cannot find healing
unless you try to
overcome your sickness!
