You Are Incarnate, Like The Heart Poem by Naveed Akram

You Are Incarnate, Like The Heart

Life is an utensil of the flesh, the wound that never
Perspires, or grows too tall in the spirits.
It is your heart that alarms you when in fright,
So beat your heart with your might, solely to feel
The love. It is love that binds the cardiac muscle.

Shine like the universe with all your heart and strife,
Never be under the sun for so long that it frowns on you,
Never let stars themselves be in command of your soul,
For they shatter the feelings when piercing and bright,
Living alight, in glowing that heat and energy has been.

The cosmos works tonight all because of you, the soul,
Everything glows this night, the stars at this night,
Like the heart of the matter, the existence of the nature.
Forces work to topple your descent of a crime of reasoning,
The very crime allowed by the fresh policies of righteous men.
