You Are Poor Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You Are Poor

Rating: 5.0

Make a move
And honestly prove
That even though you are poor
You are not knocking door to door

You make an impressive show
And definitely blow
Your tune with
An advancement of time

Time doesn’t remain same
You can later on claim
Even better position
Without surrendering to superstition belief

Keep one thing in mind
And find
Contentment with solace
That shall always bring smile on face

A poor man may be short of money but not short of dignity and self-respect. He may carry out his duties honestly without being swept by baseless logic. He remains content and happy with what he and his family earns.
