if i could i'll write you a song,
that takes you to where you belong.
but the lyrics somehow went wrong,
writing it is taking me so long.

i tried to match the words and the melody,
but all i can think of is this horrid enmity.
the notes that used to be perfect are slowly fading
for my heart knows that something is missing.

i tried to create a happy harmony,
but my soul only knows a song of melancholy.
i put into words all of our memory,
but i was filled by all of my worries.

i can still taste the sweetness of your lips
the warmth of you hands to my skin is what i missed
your eyes as blue as the sky and calm sea
how could i not love a special man as thee?

to be with you is what i'm praying everyday
my love for you dear is here to stay
now i know that i've been blinded all along
i dont need to write anymore cos in my heart YOU ARE THE SONG...
