Goodbye
i'm standing here all alone,
in the midst of nowhere cant help but mourn.
i know that i've already lost you,
and this thought's making my heart so blue.
i can still recall the promises we made
cant help but think what made love to fade
i thought you're the one i've been waiting for
but you left my side and hurt me more and more.
i tried to find my way back to you
but your heart stays cold so what can i do?
i wanna fight so much to make you stay
but your actions telling me to get out of your way.
what happened to the love i thought we had?
what made things turned out this bad?
you've fallen out of love with me so easily
you did'nt even say goodbye to me.
now the song is slowly fading
what used to be my reality turned into nightmare
both of them lost their true meaning
all that's left here is the pain i cant bear.
i will always remember the day we met
being so far from you is the only thing i regret
if i am only near i will set you free
but i will never ever let thee leave me.
someday our paths will cross again
when it happens please let me hold your hand
i promise that i will never ask you 'why'
i will just kiss you and finally bid you goodbye...

Well for me i understood you very well in this poem but i hate the word goodbye, , , , nice way to make a person feel regret for something they should have did.
This is a powerful poem that demands a 9. It may not technically meet that qualification, but the sentiment around this piece of writing just overcomes everything else. GW62
but sometimes u gotta let go and it hurts and it's hard but we have to get over it just how they got over it. I like ur poem though...it's inspirational.
