Some live to give,
Others live to take,
Some of us think we're all seeing,
As long as we live,
It's ourselves we forsake,
It's the nature of the intelligent being.
Some people care,
Others just don't,
As a species we are living a lie,
While causing despair,
We then promise we won't,
The facts some will always deny.
Some enjoy strife,
Others love peace,
Some are kind while others are mean,
We say, that's life,
It's a short-term lease,
Why is there no in-between?
Some live to love,
Others just hate,
They do it without rhyme or reason,
It's what's up above,
We need to placate,
We're either loyal or guilty of treason.
Some think they're clever,
Others are not,
Is that purely down to opinion,
They would say never,
Don't get distraught,
Just remain within your own dominion.
Some may be right,
Others may be wrong,
But regardless of mind or physique,
If when wrong you're contrite,
Remain proud and strong,
The fact is,
‘' You Are Unique ‘'
