You Came All The Way

Well Lord how I praise You
And thank You everyday
For all the trials that You endured
Yet You came all the way
It usually doesn't take to much
For us to turn aside
But You set Your face like a flint
To become sin's Sacrifice

Mocking...scourging...railing
From the highest to the low
You took it all in stride Lord
You loved each and every foe
Nothing would detour You
From the task You had at hand
Even though there were ten thousand Angel's
Ready at Your command

It will be very interesting
When we get to Heaven's shore
And meet the first believer
That entered Heaven's door
Then the last believer
While You hung there on the Cross
Offering him Paradise...that day!
While the other met eternal loss

What blessed assurance of Heaven
Have we who know the Lord
This truth is not a fairy tale
For its founded on the Word
The number one best seller
For it has Heavenly reviews
You came all the way Lord
And brother that's not fake news!
