You Have Chosen Your Course Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

You Have Chosen Your Course

You have chosen your course
To plow the seas of life.
Tacking where wind subsides,
Running with the storms,
Floating in the calm,
Anchoring in safe harbors.
Only to sail away
With the slightest breeze,
To seek new horizons
Upon the security
Of unsettled seas,
Seeking the course
Of wind and current,
To take you
Forever away.
