You Have No Idea Poem by sweet girl

You have no idea what its like being me,
You want everyone to know that your always there.
But it doesn't work,
It only makes people turn their backs to you.

You come across the 'popular girls',
Well, thats what they think they are.
And then, you pass them, but fearful.
Then your beating happens.

But you meet this guy,
And he becomes your best friend.
You start to like him, and the same goes for him too.
So you both get together.

The other girls get angry, envious, and mad.
They hurt you to make a point to you.
But no matter what,
You won't give up on him..

But somehow you get mad, and worried.
And you go to him, scared that he'll leave you,
And frightened that he'll break your heart.
But he won't, cause he's not that kinda guy.

Either way, you hide it from your parents.
The relationship goes well though.
And your mom just got separated from your dad.
It's hard for the both of you.

Then one day, your boyfriend comes over.
He's worried, but your mom is curious.
So you decide to tell her.
She gets happy, then laughs, and you start to laugh.

But suddenly you wake up.
It was all a dream.
You find out where you are,
In the hospital.

None of it was true.
But it had seem so.
And your in there because of the brutal beatings.
You cry.

Your mom, comes in alone,
And your scared that she actually broke up with dad.
And it is true.
All except having your friend there with you.

You go back to school,
And you await for your next beating.
But no one glares at you,
Only smiles.
