After so many exhausting years
Of living your life, you dry your tears.
You look like a nice silvery but
So desiccated mongongo nut.
That nut looks so much like a luster
When it is hung in its nice cluster
From the tree of life on Christmas night,
Because that tree has a non-stop light.
Never goes out because it's divine
And there you deserve to breathe and shine
Among candles that burn in that night.
You are my so special human light.
You always give others what they need
Your going forth is armed with your Creed.
No one can ever take this from you.
You're my lover and it rings so true.
