You Lure Me My God Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

You Lure Me My God

Rating: 5.0

God Almighty,
you meet me lovingly
and sometimes lure me
with your words from
my own safe quarter
especially when it is
necessary forme
to become active.

The bent reed you do not break,
and do not extinguish
the smoldering wick.

You meet me when
I am tired and depressed.

Beforethe glow
disappeares in my eyes
you cometo enliven me.

I often do not realize it.

Later by surprise,
I know you were there.

Then I am overjoyed.

God, Youare always with me.
