You make me cry
When night is long;
I see through windows
Darkness is reigning strong;
I wish you to meet;
In the frayed corner of my heart
When for you it does beat;
I know you are gone;
Leaving me to survive in darkness
With your love never to return;
But I won’t ever forget;
The promise you have made
With a voice sweet and delicate;
That you would never ever try;
To bury our love in sands of time
Before you said final goodbye.
