Looked, but saw nothing
Searched, yet found nothing
Knocked, but on silent doors
Walked long lonely roads
Walked, drenched in the rain
Shelter, none to rest my pain
I walk alone
No past to chain me
No briars before me
Nothing to bind me
No fear to stalk me
Nothing can chisel my dream
Led by my inner spirit’s beam
I walk alone
(Reply)
You do not walk alone
He walked you all along
You asked, He answered
You sought, He provided
You knocked, door opened
He walked you all along
He sheltered when it rained
Healed moments when you pained
He walked the length, carrying you
His promise kept, saw you through
His dream is your dream
Empowered by His Spirit within
You’ll never walk alone!
