You'Re Not Taking Him Away From Me! - Poem by Ramona Thompson

I have worked so hard to get him to notice me
Too damm hard for a witch like you to come along and ruin
All of my most carefully laid plans
First to impress
You stole my ideas
Second to win his heart
You lied and batted your pretty eyes
Oozing false sincerity
Hoping to seduce my man away from me
Before we even had a chance to get something started
That's when the war between us began
A war that I intend to win
Stomping my foot down and screaming for you and all your stupid followers to hear
Listen up and listen well ladyz
This man
The only man that I have ever truely love in my life
You can try but I promise you
You will only fail in your efforts
Cos tonight and any other night that you try
You're not taking him away from me!

Drawn together
We would have been a couple a lot sooner then this
If only you had't put your nose and your lips in where they did't belong
Wooing him
Swooning and fawning over him
Like some damm lovesick fool
Turning my stomach and my heart
Never have I ever felt such a intense rage before
The fury roaring in my blood to stake my claim and do it now
Before it's too late
Before the wrong choice is made and my love is forever lost to me
I swear that I'm gonna fight you
Tooth and nail
Bringing the blood if I have to
Sacrificing it all for a future with him
My soulmate
Not yours
So just remember honey whose property he really is and....
Back the hell off before you get hurt
Too bad to ever be right again
Clawing you to pieces as I shout
Loud and clear for to maybe finally understand
Try as might tonight or any other damm night
You're not taking him away from me!

I don't care if I hurt you or anyone else
I don't care about anything or anyone else
Just as long as I'm happy
Just as long as I get what I want
That man
That wonderful, glorious piece of a oh so gifted and talented man
In my heart
My soul and my bed
By my side
From this moment and for all eternity
Never ever looking back
Never ever once regretting that I did't fight for what and who I wanted
Busting into hell
Kick-boxing the devil himself if I have to
Just to call him mine
Not yours
Not now
Not ever
So just listen and understand this
You little wannabe homewrecker
Cos I'm only gonna say this one more time in more line
Try as hard as you want tonight or any other night
But I mean it
You're not taking him away from me!

My future's in his eyes
My foot's gonna be up yours
If you dare to look at him twice
So unless you want me to stop being so damm nice
Then girl you will back off now
Before I break more then just your heart
Before I snap you into two
Like a twig
Hitting you like a tornado
Leaving nothing of your pretty, pretty face to be salvaged
If you keep on trying to hang onto my man
I'll put you 6 feet under
6 feet under a wall of shame and agony
Buried so deep that you'll never get out
So deep that it's for sure
No man or woman will ever want you again
So please honey know that
I'm not asking and I'm not begging
I'm telling you
Back off now and let me have what is rightfully mine or face the deadly consequences
It's your choice
Live without him or die a thousand deaths
Still without him
So tell me what's it gonna be babe?
As if we don't already know
The answer
The only answer is this one and this one alone
Try as hard as you might but tonight or any other night
Honey, you're never taking him away from me!
