You Took Me With You... - Poem by (brief renderings) Joe Fazio
I left you in your flowered covered
cemetery plot...and I left me there to.
It takes more than a shovel and six feet
of dirt to bury the dreams...the memories...
and love of a lifetime.
There was a time when you turned my despair
to joy, my tears to laughter and my heart
Now you are gone. Light is darkness, my tears
fill an ocean, God seems not and the
world is my prison.
