You Were Right There?

I thought of you today.
I thought of you and ran away.
Away from the pain,
away from the tears.
The emptiness you've left inside me.
So cold and alone.
Lost and confused.
Why are you gone?
Taken from me.
Pictures bring tears and memories.
Memories.
Memories?
You were right there.
Where are you now?
Gone?
You can't be.
How can it be true?
I just saw you.
Your smile
Your laugh
I heard your voice.
You were within reach.
You were right there.
Right there.
Right there!
Why aren't you there anymore?
I need you here.
Please?
Why are you gone?
How can you be gone?
How?
Where did you go?
Where?

Your poem really touched me alot because just 5 days ago, a real good friend of mine hung himself. It's hard to find someone who understands the pain. Thank You!
