You Wonder Poem by ESPN CHICK

Looking into the sky
Trying to find answers
You're lost and alone and you wonder why

You want someone to love you
To be there when you need them
When all you need is someone to lean on

And your asking God why
Why haven't I found that one
The first love of my life

Its been a long and lonely road
Especially the last few years
With no where to go and no one to comfort you

You keep all the pain bottled up inside
And you wonder why things happen to you
Asking God for something good to happen in your life

But nothing has even came close to being good
You wonder what you did to deserve this life
All you want is something simple

Not asking for much but I guess to God its a lot
You wonder life away wondering where you want to head to next
Tired of being alone walking down this pathway so lonely

You're ready just to give up
But you know you can't
Gotta hang on

Gotta be strong
But you can't help but wonder
What life would be like with you gone

Trying to fight the thoughts within your mind
Fighting those thoughts with all the might you have
Cause you know you can't give in

You have to stay alive
Cause maybe that someone is waiting around the bin
But you can't help but wonder your life away
