Young And Wild Poem by Randy McClave

Young And Wild

To be born in this world when it was young and wild
How I wished that I was in that world as a child,
Before there was concrete and of course pollution
If only we knew now of a happy solution.
To swim in the water that was once clear and blue
Instead of the trash and junk we now have to navigate through,
To take a deep breath of the air without a cough
To choose then instead of now, would be such an easy trade off.
Mother Nature would have been my very best friend
Her earth and air I would not never hurt or offend,
Now with pollution and litter a destruction we are breedin'
Just think, this world was once the garden of Eden.
