Young Love Poem by McKenna Masters

Young Love

Rating: 4.8

Tonight we lay in my bed, the moon cutting through the curtains. You stared at me for a long while then said, 'I'm in love.' Of course, I knew this. You've said it many times. But my heart still picks up in speed and a smile takes over me. In the now, it doesn't matter that we are young and we have an unknown future ahead of us. All I know is that I love you. And in 10 years, there will still be a part of me that still loves you. It will always be you.

Beautiful love poem nicely penned from the heart with conviction. A good depiction of a voyage of bliss that is love - a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. Thanks for sharing McKenna. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
