Young Love Poem by Stefanie Fontker

Young Love

Unable to be pulled apart from him,
Her heartbeats resemble percussion.
Lips upon another’s they waltz slowly,
Almost motionless in their emotion.
Thoughts speeding like race cars,
Going a mile a minute at top speed.
Hands in union, smiling into each other,
What is a true day, without such sweet kisses?
