Your Body Of Water Poem by Stefanie Fontker

Your Body Of Water

Years ago you had already
Started to plan your return,
Months before your adventure
Out into the endless sea.
And back home, you have come
To me and all we once had.
Though it no longer remains
As fresh and bright as it once
Had seemed in the sunlight,
We will always be able to
Blow away the dust, and polish
Archived memories of love.

Wow, this is a beautiful piece of writing, and it's not burdened down with intense emotions, but better fitted with a wide feeling of peace.

'Though it no longer remains As fresh and bright as it once Had seemed in the sunlight, We will always be able to Blow away the dust, and polish Archived memories of love.' These are such beautiful lines! It goes to show that even when material things are altered and destroyed, love remains. Lovely, as usual!

Memories down the lane of dusts to sweep and scavenge...they are overlooked until the blues are appropriately reached in life to spray lemons on them...well articulated and thought off..
