Your Blip - Poem by Rose Price

I know you haven't seen me
I know you didn't know me yet
I know you loved me.
I know you never got to hold me
I know you cherished me.
I know you caressed me
Even though I was nothing
Just a tiny blip.
A dot of life which never
Got to shine bright in your warmth.
I know you might be sad right now
But don't be.
I will return somehow
And will never leave you again.
I know you want to hold on to me
But don't.
Cause one day I will come back
And hold on to you
And never leave you slack.
Remember this tiny dot loves you back.
Remember I will always be here
Silently loving you,
Silently smiling with you
Even though I wasn't even alive yet.

I love you Mum.
