Your Departure Poem by Nidhi Saxena

Your Departure

Rating: 5.0

Ahh! once more the pang of my heart
takes me in that deep agony
of losing my smile
of burning in bile
and thinking of that blotty mile

when i was forlorn
and used to moan
and could sense nothing but pain
when joy and dreams
and light and cream
was washed in a raven rain

when dark was all my soul could see
and I just wondered
how my life would be
when fate seemed so cruel to me
and sky and stars and moon and winds
all glared and chuckled at me mockingly

that was the time
oh! the hell like days
that have left in my heart
several scorching lines
when we broke apart
and parted our ways....
