Your Local Library (Library Week 7-12 October 2019 Uk) - Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

The comfy seats, the story telling, friendly faces great you at your local library
A Place of hope a place of knowledge the waves along the sea of learning.

Activities of support that empower
Befriending Places the warmly greeting
Travellers of optimism never fleeting

A house of safety the lasting sentences flowing quotes contained within
encyclopaedic adventures await to entertain you to even make you grin

Relaxation karma glow of enrichment wraps the absorbing mind
A Romance, a thriller or a drama what delights you will find

Feel the pull of the wordsmiths calling
Possibilities to be discovered and help on hand to stop you falling

Each word that passes evoking emotions
Pages of life embodied the leaves abound
Binding love encompasses all round

Escapism feelings, authors for the masses
Something for everyone whether the cup half empty or rose-tinted glasses

Community of readers
Generational Hub and stimulation feeders
Your local Library the place to come and join the succeeders

Topic(s) of this poem: emotions, feelings
