Winter Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

Winter

Dark Nights Dark Mornings
The signal of winters arrival
Cold brisk and shivering

Frosty pathways guide us towards warmth
Mist projects from our every breath
Clothes forming many layers

Feel the barrenness bitter chill
Wintry, snowy, frostyand glistening
seasonal picturesque scenes don the landscapes

The harshest of times and yet the playful of times
Leafless skeleton trees standing tall
Faces peer out of orange glowing windows in hope that the snow will fall

The breeze of hopes the tingle of senses
Nothing compares or fails
Find the magic in a winter's tale
