Pausing from my perilous journey
Safe within your love
Sheltered from each purple storm.
Here they shall not hurt me
Nor wilt away my dreams
Turning sweetness into bitterness.
For you are the beat of my heart
Breath I take to live
Reason for tomorrow's dawn.
