Your Name Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Your Name

C-old chilling raindrop
H-as faded into the night;
E-arly twelfth January
L-ets the morn meet the light.

L-et the Thursday beacon
E-liminate the shadow;
O-pening the day with warmth,
S-un bathes the meadow.
A-fter the Wednesday is gone,
L-onely dusk does the same;
A-s you wake from slumber, friends mention your name.
