Your presence


your presence is so all-pervasive

I cannot look beyond you

whatever is my thought

is bounded by your memories

I cannot slacken the chains

however hard I fought



my love for you is immortal

it demands no attachment

the yearning is forever

shall we meet at the grave

though I am not a saint

a man of normal desire
