Your Suicide - Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Your suicide

I read that you committed suicide

In fact you did commit suicide
Your words reached me
I know of your death, though
I cherish you, always
My part, my life, my hope and…
My future…

Your words told me of your end…
Not mine and no-one else’s…
Only yours
With the ink that was killed on paper
On that cotton-like sheet of paper

With it I cried
With it I will cry
With it I will,
Most probably

With suicide?

And if so
And if you are still alive
You are my murderer
With your mom and siblings

Too sad
I wish I was blind and
Had never read that paper.
