Your Word Living In Me

Thank you Lord for your Word
That brings true light to men
That brings them to the realization
They must be born again
From the very words of your mouth
You made that stated fact
Of all the things that men should do
Born again is an important fact

Our earthly birth we cannot control
When we are born of the flesh
But a Spiritual birth is necessary
If we're to taste of Heaven's breath
Quickened by the Spirit of God
In a response unto the Word
Repentance from our sindesired
Well pleasing unto the Lord

Thy Word you've placed above all else
It shall never sway
It will remain steadfast as ever
Though heaven and earth shall pass away
For You the Word are living Lord
Our judgment by it assured
Every Word of it held high and holy
By which our destiny is secured

How I praise You for Thy Word
That pointed out my sin
And brought conviction to my heart
Revealing my need to be born again
And then still further comes more praise
Now I praise Thee constantly
Enjoying forgiveness for my sin
Your Word living in me
