You're A Star Poem by Randy McClave

You're A Star

I look at the stars so high in the sky
And each one causes me to sigh,
Each shows their true beauty late at night
Aye, indeed each holds a beautiful light.
Indeed stars are all like any human being
Sometimes they need to be noticed and seen,
And sadly some go dark and then some fall
But, in the ends it's God's call.
I watch the people as they pass me by
As stars they stand in front of my eye,
If they only knew that they were like the stars in sight
Then they would feel their true delight.
Shine as bright as you want to shine
Be your own constellation sign,
Aye, remember this, you are indeed a star
And you are perfect, just the way you are.
