Yours Only Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Yours Only

Yours only

"Tick, tick" the time passes
The day emerges
With night to set in
The changes are seen

I could see it happen
The children are grown
Generation gap has emerged
Some memories are to be put on pages

Still something rocks mind
I am unable to find
Why does it not erase?
And make me feel being chased

Yes, love remains in one corner
It provides me joy as loner
She reminds me of lovely sky and star
Even if remaining far

What is our future?
I asked her many times
"Forever shall remain yours"
These words keep me alive and healthier
