Zindagi
AAina jo dekhun,
to ghunghat na uthaaun,
bahaar jo niklun,
to wapas chal aaun.
Zulm ke beech,
awaaz jab uthaai,
to sadak ke beech,
tezaab gale lagaai.
Ye meri nahin,
shosan ki awaaz hai.
Mai roti nahin,
mujhe khud pe naaz hai.
Meri awaaz suno,
mai ek ladki hun.
Cheehra na dekho,
mai tezaab se ladhi hun.
Yahi meri zindagi,
hak hai mujhe jeena ka.
Aansu kya rokegi,
dard mere seene ka.
Haiwaano se jo mili,
use peeche chod aayi.
Aaj jab baahar nikli,
to zindagi v muskuraayi.
Phir se girakar uthi mai,
dard se sisakti.
Kismat ko v di maine,
datkar nai chunauti.

A breath-taking poem highlighting the trauma of acid attack......are we all worse than beasts? the person throwing acid at woman ceases to be a human being! God bless the victims with the perennial energy to fight this injustice. Thank you for sharing this malady prevalent in our society..
This poem is for acid attack.....The cruel anti social elements of the society who commit this crime never understand the pain and sufferings of the victims...This poem is dedicated to all those strong fighters who after being the victim fight for their right and justice in the society.
