No more was i going to let anyone defeat me
With an insult or even with a knee.

Sometimes he comes dressed up in a suit and a tie,
Always he will arrive with good looks and power and torque
And sometimes he's the person, maybe like you or I.

I loaned her a dollar
She never paid me back,
All she did was scream and holler
And her clothes she then did pack.

We go to bed together
We hold unto each other,
As we sleep through the night
With peace, comfort and delight.

If your child gets sick
Don't look at me I wont politic,
Think before you ask
Then look at me, I wear a mask,

True, it is always the nice guys that always finish last
While crossing the finish line by bad guys they get passed,
Guys that have cheated and stole and lied
While everyone else cheered and was always on their side.

She told me that she was tired
I was truly uninspired,
As she walked, and also talked
As though she was retired.
