Will Althen Poems

Hollywood has ate my face
Now I'm in the run of the same old race
Now that Hollywood has ate my face
I wanted a feast after my first taste
...

Even an ant
can manifest destiny
A leech can keep on feeding
until it gets the best of me
...

A knight of my time
Yet a proponent of crime
Gathered up for slaughter
I long for my homeland
...

Fatten us up for the slaughter
So we parlay even lower
Then what you wish to see stand
Is that your plan Tesla?
...

The world is quite here
If I told you I knew what I’m sayin’ I’d be lying here
People who are greedy and dying to need me wish they could see what I’m writing here
If life needs a bull market, then I’m a bear
...

Are we living to die
Because I’m dying to live
No people are charitable
Because no one gives
...

What is morbid
But our minds
It creates the evil
Then closes the blinds
...

Everyone's sponges
and we all absorb s-
We're all judged for what we take in
but remembered for what we spit out
...

What leads to my anguish?
Sung the herald from the chains.
Is it my actions which lead to my pains?
No says the hero hung high,
...

Grin from ear to ear
Holy text hold tight
A skip to his step
A known advantage over the others
...

Back home its hell
The future as well
Bite marks scar me
Taken from freedom
...

The trees stay with me
Stronger than buildings
More alive than the people who just try to survive
In their hollows they know why we follow
...

Push the knife deeper
Your words make you a keeper
Your words make them a sleeper
Why do you speak
...

But Mr.James
how will we burn down the town?

Since Nuremberg
...

Seems like now a days
each of us is our own Beelzebub
Who burned the faces of Gregorian monks?
like Hitler burned books
...

Just as Ontario's skies are grey
I wake up to begin the day
As solid as the rocks they come
They always seem to turn to crumb
...

Bent but not broken
I’m the black sheep
A token
Write down the truth
...

18.

If I were to fall from grace
would my throne persist
if my Godly pulpit gave came from under me
like an executioners stage
...

The Best Poem Of Will Althen

Dinner At The Ritz

Hollywood has ate my face
Now I'm in the run of the same old race
Now that Hollywood has ate my face
I wanted a feast after my first taste

They where stuck together with glue and paste
They made there own supreme race
Out of our rat race

They took our lies, our tattered tears
they took a yellow moon and made it gold
took all our fears and made them bold

They've stolen my lot and thrown it in with theirs
They've eaten my face so I can take money from yours
