Treasure Island

2nd of August 1980

i read a book and
descriptions
it can't reveal an image
just passed by
not to forget never
not exactly a brilliant time
for my heart
a morning
and a hot day of
august
holiday
eighteen years
old it was a
pause from school frequency
alone in the kitchen
and an awful roar
trembling of glasses
not so much
but
a lot for what it was
5 km from
the place
of disgrace
and blast
in the beautiful
town
of gentle
people
i had
a feeling
of horror
and then
i knew
from the tv
what the horrible
can do

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
