Another Dull Day

I woke up alone this morning...

I cried a tear of saddness yet again.

I awaited the bench of dreams to pull you in...

But waiting for you is just another dull day in.

Another day to cry....

Another day to say good bye....

Another day to lie....

Another dull day that's not mine.

Your ellusive and from me you hide.

Yor indecisive and just an illusion.

You seem to be there awaiting by my side...

But you disappear in the air so thin.

My heart aches to its limit for you.

My pains just worsen every day.

I try to look on the bright side just to get through...

But my eyes close again and reopen to just another dull day.

Another day to cry....

Another day to say good bye....

Another day to lie....

Another dull day that's not mine.

I tried to give up once it started to rain.

And I thought of burning your stuff you left behind for me.

I tried to change everything but it's all the same.

It just seems like I can not erase you from my heart completely.

I sit here at this foggy window....

thinking you will still find your way home.

I set free of my fears to go....

to go straight to another dull day alone.

Another day to cry....

Another day to say good bye....

Anotherday to lie....

Another dull ay that is actually mine.

Today was just another dull day I crid over you.

Today was just another dull day that I couldn't say good bye to you.

Today was just another dull day to be honest to myself and not lie.

Today was just another dull day that is yours and mine.

I can never let you go,

not while I am still in love with you.

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
